Margaret River has long been the world stage for major events such as the Margaret River Surf Pro. The Margaret River Pro secured its position on the ASP world tour, in 2013, which makes it one of the top 10 surfing locations in the world.

Annually held, it is an event not to be missed, with all the top surfers coming here year after year and people flocking to see the best of the best, it is certainly something to experience.

The Leeuwin Concert Series certainly holds its own with worldwide events. With International Corporates flying in annually from all over the world, it is the most sought after ticket around.

The Leeuwin Concert has been held at the famous Leeuwin Estate Winery for over 20 years. With international stars from Tom Jones, Julio Iglesias, Carole King, Sting and so many more performing so close to home it is an event you don’t want to miss.

Riding on top of these two major events, Margaret River is now home to the Margaret River Gourmet Escape. Chefs from around the world gather in November along with all our well known Australian and local chefs, to bring Margaret River, a weekend full of the most amazing taste sensations, coordinated with all of our local and Australian wines. Over 20,000 people came to enjoy the first Gourmet Escape weekend in 2012 and with so much success this will only become bigger and better.

Without forgetting the explorers, Margaret River is renowned for some of the most famous caves in the world. With so many available to see Jewel Cave and Lake Cave, ride high on the list of must sees.
